Il Presidente della Regione Puglia ha emanato oggi una ordinanza (num. 221) con efficacia immediata e valida sino al 17 maggio 2020 in materia di allenamento e addestramento degli animali, manutenzione di camper e roulotte, attività sportiva all’aria aperta.
Owners and handlers of horses and dogs are allowed to individually provide for their training and education, exclusively in riding schools or areas authorized for training, within the territory of the Puglia Region, in compliance with safety regulations related to the containment of Covid-19 transmission and ensuring the maintenance of a safe interpersonal distance of one meter.
Individual movement within the regional territory is allowed to reach owned campers or caravans for maintenance and repair activities, in compliance with safety regulations related to containing the Covid-19 outbreak, no more than once a day. Subject to the rules on interpersonal distancing of at least 2 meters, all amateur and individual outdoor sports (such as golf, athletics, running, cycling, sailing, skating, tennis, canoeing, rowing, horseback riding, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, motorsport, motorcycling, go-karting, archery, shooting, and similar activities) are permitted in the regional territory, to be practiced individually or with a companion for minors or individuals who are not fully self-sufficient. With respect to these amateur sports activities referred to in Article 1, paragraph 1, letter f) of the Prime Ministerial Decree of April 26, 2020, it is mandatory within the respective facilities, centers, or sports clubs to ensure remote reservation of the necessary space, as well as to enforce rotations that prevent gatherings or contact, in violation of the safety distance of at least two meters; daily sanitation of the spaces used for accessing fields or facilities where outdoor sports activities are practiced is also required; all common and service areas (e.g., changing rooms, bars, showers, halls) must be inaccessible, with an absolute ban on serving food and beverages inside these facilities, centers, or sports clubs. "Every action we take," explains the President of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, "is built together with epidemiological coordination. With this ordinance, we have considered the safeguarding of health and the well-being of people, animals, and the care of material property to maintain and not deteriorate them." "Amateur sports activities are very important for safely releasing the physical and psychological energies that have been confined to home isolation for many weeks, while respecting all prevention rules," observes Regional Councillor Raffaele Piemontese, who, during the past week, listened to many representatives of the Pugliese sports movement alongside President Emiliano and the head of the Administration, Finance, and Control Section for Health and Sport, Benedetto Pacifico.
